Reflection

a. What are the learning/discoveries that I have gained?

In Junior High School, I’ve gained a lot of new knowledge and skills. Academically, I’ve learned more about subjects like science, math, and literature, which have sparked my curiosity and deepened my understanding of the world. I’ve also discovered more about myself—how I learn, what challenges I find most difficult, and what motivates me. Beyond academics, I’ve learned the importance of time management, staying organized, and balancing schoolwork with personal life.

b. What are the problems/challenges that I have encountered?

Throughout my JHS experience, some challenges have come up, especially when balancing schoolwork with extracurricular activities. At times, the workload has been overwhelming, and I’ve found it difficult to manage my time effectively. There were also moments when I struggled with specific subjects, particularly in areas like math or writing, and I had to face self-doubt about my abilities. Additionally, navigating the social dynamics of school has sometimes been challenging, especially with peer pressures and maintaining healthy relationships.

c. How did I address these challenges?

To address these challenges, I made a conscious effort to improve my time management skills. I started creating schedules and setting aside dedicated study time, which helped me stay on top of assignments and projects. For subjects I struggled with, I sought help from teachers, classmates, or online resources to clarify concepts. I also learned to be patient with myself and not to be afraid to ask for assistance when needed. In terms of social challenges, I worked on building stronger communication skills and practicing empathy, which helped me foster better relationships with my peers and navigate conflicts more effectively.

d. Moving on, I will…..

Moving forward, I will continue to improve my time management skills and stay disciplined in balancing school and personal life. I will also keep pushing myself to tackle challenging subjects, knowing that persistence and hard work will pay off. I will focus on maintaining a positive mindset, even when things get tough, and I will not be afraid to ask for help whenever necessary. I also want to be more involved in extracurricular activities that align with my interests and further develop my skills. Ultimately, I aim to be a more confident and organized individual as I continue my journey in beyond.
